Storrs grew up in Katonah, New York. After graduating from Miss Porter's School and the University of Vermont, she worked at Condé Nast Traveler in Manhattan. She moved back to Bedford in 1990 to raise her 3 children. Storrs's love and connection to Bedford is deeply rooted. She was an intern at the Rippowam Cisqua School where she has coached field hockey and lacrosse for the past several years. There she was a class representative, a member of the Parents' Executive Committee and now sits on the Alumni Board. A current member of the Bedford Garden Club, she has served as a volunteer for St. Matthew's Church and the John Jay Homestead. Storrs's meticulous organizational skills, familiarity with the area and ease with people, add to her tremendous work ethic. She spends her free time playing tennis, paddle and skiing.
