Before Melinda fell in love with the Rivertowns and made the lower Hudson Valley home, she lived in major cities (London, Tokyo, New York City, Chicago and Hong Kong) and villages across five countries. Her down-to-earth Midwest demeanor, personal experience exchanging homes across the globe, and wealth of local knowledge make her an informed and relatable guide for clients buying and selling homes along the Hudson. She is dedicated not only to the home search process, but also to everything that comes with it – the creation of a lifestyle and building connections.
Having worked as a regional marketing manager for a global public relations agency, Melinda has experience advocating for clients and effectively communicating ideas across different audiences. She brings the ability to objectively listen to her clients’ wishes and needs, communicate key information and see a transaction through to completion. She does all of this with commitment, attention to detail and an empathetic ear. She recognizes the decision of where to call home involves more than just numbers.
When Melinda first explored Westchester, she saw the lifestyle she wanted reflected in the Rivertowns. She, her husband and their school-age children happily reside in Irvington where Melinda serves on village’s Farmers Market committee. She enjoys cooking, vintage shopping, walking in Irvington Woods and spending time with friends.
